The G.I. Joes are framed for stealing nuclear warheads from Pakistan by Zartan (Arnold Vosloo) who is impersonating the President of the United States (Jonathan Pryce). The entire team is eliminated in a military strike with Duke (Channing Tatum) as one of the casualties. Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), Flint (D.J. Cotrona) and Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki) are the only survivors.

Meanwhile, Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) and ex-Joe Firefly (Ray Stevenson) rescue Cobra Commander (Luke Bracey) from a penitentiary in Germany. Storm Shadow is injured during the escape and retreats to a temple in the Himalayas to recover. Upon learning that he is alive, the Blind Master (RZA), leader of the Arashikage Clan, sends Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and his apprentice Jinx (Elodie Yung), Storm Shadow’s cousin, to capture Storm Shadow so he can answer for the murder of his uncle, the Hard Master.

Roadblock, Flint, and Lady Jaye return to the United States where they set up a base of operations in a rundown gym. After Zartan announces that Cobra will replace the Joes as America’s main protective unit, Lady Jaye deduces that someone is impersonating the President and Roadblock leads them to General Joseph Colton (Bruce Willis) who provides them with weapons and helps them infiltrate a fundraising event that the President will be attending, where Lady Jaye steals a sample of his DNA and confirms that he is Zartan. They escape after a brief confrontation with Firefly and Zandar (Matt Gerald), the head of the Presidential Detail and a member of Cobra.

Snake Eyes and Jinx locate and capture Storm Shadow after a battle with ninjas and take him back to Japan where Storm Shadow reveals that Zartan murdered the Hard Master and he joined Cobra to avenge his uncle, embittered that the clan didn’t believe in his innocence. Storm Shadow then accompanies Snake Eyes and Jinx as they join the Joes’ efforts to stop Cobra.

Zartan invites the world leaders to a summit, where he blackmails them into disabling their nuclear arsenals, and reveals that he has created Project Zeus: Seven orbital kinetic bombardment weapons of mass destruction at his command. He destroys central London to prove his superiority and threatens to destroy other capitals if the countries don’t submit to Cobra. However, Storm Shadow betrays Cobra Commander and kills Zartan, revealing Cobra’s deception to the world leaders. While Snake Eyes, Jinx and Flint fight Cobra’s soldiers, Cobra Commander activates the remaining six weapons and instructs Firefly to protect the launch device. Firefly is killed in combat with Roadblock, who deactivates and destroys the orbital weapons. Meanwhile, Colton and Lady Jaye rescue the President.

Cobra Commander escapes during the battle and Storm Shadow disappears after avenging his uncle. The President initiates a manhunt on Cobra Commander, and reinstates the Joes with Roadblock leading Flint, Lady Jaye, Snake Eyes and Jinx, and recruiting more soldiers to join them. Roadblock swears to avenge Duke by capturing Cobra Commander.

Everybody knows blockbuster Himmatwala ( 1983 Bollywood action drama film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao starring Jeetendra and Sridevi). As again in 1983′s Himmatwala itself was a remake of a Telugu film Ooriki Monagadu of 1981 Directed by Uddalapathi Narasimha Rao.

Somebody will please stand up and voice a opinion about how a remake’s are becoming a devil’s workshop.

Well here is the answer SAJID KHAN’S ‘HIMMATWALA’ is a ridiculous tribute to the original and will totally disgust you of why you are sitting in a cinema hall, instead catchin the older one running on in a channel would had been a better choice.

TAMANNAH   as  SRIDEVI  average

ADHYAMUN SUMAN  as SHAKTI KAPOOR pls look out for some thing other than ACTING

Only rejoice to the sinking film is the original soundtrack of BAPPI LAHIRI’s two famous tracks which may vasool your money back.

Emraan-Huma lip-lock in EK THI DAAYAN

No disappointment for Emraan Hashmi fans who love their serial-kisser icon. The actor, who has already proven his histrionics and star power repeatedly, will be seen gently kissing his co-star Huma Qureshi in the forthcoming “Ek Thi Daayan”.

Says a source, “It’s a passionate moment in a song sequence called Kaali Kaali and has been very aesthetically done. The set was emptied out and only the bare minimum technicians stood back to capture the scene.”

However, the kiss will not be seen in the film’s new trailer, which comes out this week, given the CBFC’s instruction to remove it. So the audience will have to get a ‘taste’ of it in the movie, when it releases worldwide on April 19.

It has been produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor.

KARAN JOHAR’S  yeh jawaani hai deewani.FIRST LOOK  HELD…

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

director’s note:

dreams. ambition. hope. disappointments. so much possibility. so many options. eager to jump. afraid to crash.

travel. first day at your first job. hectic days. sleepless nights. family. no time for them, suddenly. laughter, music, dance… friendship. best friend getting married. trying to understand the concept of marriage.trying to understand the concept of love. falling in love. falling out of love. falling in love again.

excitement.confusion. feeling invincible. feeling worthless. the feeling that things couldn’t possibly get worse. only to learn that they do in fact get worse.but only until they get better. making choices, taking chances, accepting change… The madness of youth!

The journey from a 21-year old to a 30-year old has had shades of all kinds. As the rest of life will too, undoubtedly. But there is something about one’s first tryst with adulthood which is particularly powerful… a kind of rawness, a lack of lived experience, no way of truly knowing what lies at the end of the road one is walking on, a constant seeking in the dark for the moments where life is full of light.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a cocktail of all these encounters and obsessions… It is a story of the exhilarating and terrifying journey of four characters as they navigate through their youth; from their carefree laughter as they set off on a holiday together in their colleges days, until their bittersweet tears as they watch the first of their bunch get married. It is an effort to somehow capture the spirit of their lives, wrestle with it and give it to our audience in a bottle. So that it might make them feel happy and joyful and sad and nostalgic. And like the characters in the film, it might make them seek for what it is, in all of the above, that truly gives our lives meaning…

Character Sketch

Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) : Bunny is charming and fun loving, full of spirit and an indomitable spirit of adventure. He rejects mediocrity and longs to leave his life at home behind to travel, see the world and embrace the freedom of being unattached. Passionate and resourceful, we see Bunny grow from a young student full of unconventional ambitions to a hard working videographer on a travel show, chasing and concretizing his dreams. He embraces a modern value system and wants to be answerable to no one but himself.

Naina (Deepika Padukone) : Naina is a simple, good-natured and extremely focused girl. Frustrated by the restrictions she needs to put on herself to achieve her dreams of being a doctor; she impulsively decides to go on a trekking trip to Manali to give herself a break. Through the film, Naina transforms from the restricted claustrophobic person she thought she was to a free spirited woman with a newfound love for herself and comfort within her choices. She is strong and dependable and stands firmly for rooted family values.

Aditi (Kalki Koechlin): Brazen, loud and boisterous, Aditi finds herself constantly pushed into being “one of the boys”. She is deeply protective to the point of being aggressive towards her two best friends, Avi and Bunny. Aditi doesn’t care much for appearances or money, but extends her own brand of warmth to those she respects or likes. She is fiercely loyal and fiery, almost too ready to fight for what she believes in. Aditi rarely reveals her softer side but her freely swearing, belligerent persona mellows out over time.

Avi (Aditya Roy Kapur): Avi is a carefree, happy-go-lucky boy and Bunny’s best friend. He loves alcohol, cricket and his student life. He enjoys living in the present moment and doesn’t spend much thought or effort into planning his future. He is very attached, almost dependent on his best friend, Bunny who he loves deeply. His lack of a mature worldview stilts him in some ways and he remains largely stuck in his teenaged universe.
