Bollywood industry is rapidly getting more and more competitive to capture the eyeballs in the opening weekend of a movie release and this is keeping the makers on their toes to roll out innovative ideas in order to promote their films.
For the first time in the history of Bollywood, a 3D interactive and innovative kiosk has been created by Emraan Kureshi from Active Media Innovations, for the film ‘Ghayal Once Again’ featuring Sunny Deol which has hit the Cinemas today. The innovative kiosk was launched on ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ and it was for the first time such integration happened on the National television to launch an innovation. Since then some of these innovative standees were kept at selected theatres across the country where people could click a picture by posing inside the 3D innovative kiosk and upload it on their social media platforms with the #HangOutWithSunny.
Not only common people, but even the popular personalities from Bollywood such as Dia Mirza, RajKumar Hirani, Hansal Mehta, Sushant Singh Rajput and many more grabbed a chance to get clicked with the 3D innovation kiosk of Ghayal Once Again.
Talking about this innovation, Emraan said,” The idea behind the innovation was to bring an integration of outdoor with digital media for the movie, reproduce the stylised action in the film and get people to talk about it. We innovated on the movie artwork to create this life size 3D installation, making it interactive and hence – Hang out with Sunny.”
Explaining the rationale for this kind of an installation, Aniruddha Nag from the marketing team of ‘Ghayal Once Again’ adds,” The idea was to project a larger than life rendition of Sunny Deol as the original action hero and deliver it in a fresh format, which would represent the stylized action in the film. When we created this innovation, we realized that it worked at multiple levels for Sunny’s fans, as they felt that they could engage with him through this installation.”
The Producer Director and the protagonist of the film, Sunny Deol says,”I have endeavoured to give a fresh experience to all my fans and the general audience with this film and tried to reflect that through every aspect of its campaign. I am quite happy that the people have liked this installation and have been sending their pictures with it from all over the country”.
