Unique Theatre Branding For Ujda Chaman

The makers of Ujda Chaman have come up with a unique branding strategy for the film in PVR cinema chains.

There are cutouts of Chaman’s character placed in front of seats. So when the moviegoers sit on the sit, they will see Chaman sitting on front of them on the seat!

We return to the Great House with the most illustrious guests the Crawley family could ever hope to entertain, their Majesties King George V and Queen Mary.  With a dazzling parade and lavish dinner to orchestrate, Mary, now firmly at the reins of the estate, faces the greatest challenge to her tenure as head of Downton.

The sisters weather this latest disruption as best they can, but when The King offers Edith’s husband Bertie a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity it causes conflict between them. Officer Arjun Singh IPS Trailer & Music launch took place in Mumbai in presence of Media .

Actor Priyanshu Chatterjee, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000’, has said that truth alone triumphs is the message of his forthcoming action- cop drama film.

Priyanshu Chatterjee was interacting with the media at the trailer and music launch of ‘Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000’ on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Focusing on the crucial social issues and the current state of the political and police departments, the film amalgamates the mixed life of IPS officer Arjun Singh, who holds a metaphorical depiction of an ideal cop and more precisely an ideal citizen.

Priyanshu Chatterjee is playing role of IPS officer Arjun Singh in the film, talking about his character in the film, Priyanshu said, “He is very sensitive at the same time daring and honest cop. The film is about how he fights with the system to give justice to one family.”

When asked Priyanshu what kind of message his upcoming film will give to the audience, he said, “The message which we are trying to give through this film is that dishonesty cannot win against the truth. It tells that Truth alone triumphs not matter what the situation is and that’s what my character tries to advocate in the film.”

When asked Priyanshu what makes his upcoming film different from previous cop films, he said, “It’s very raw, rustic and realistic sort of a film. I loved the script of the film. I loved the experience of working with the entire team. It is the first time I am playing role of a police officer so, working in this film was a new and fantastic experience for me.”

Sharing his experience working with Govind Namdev and Vijay Raaz in the film, Priyanshu said, “It was fantastic and amazing working with all of them because they are such seniors and cooperative bunch of actors and at the same time, they are a lot of fun so, we used to have a lot fun while shooting for the film.”

Sharing his experience working with writer and director Arshad Siddiqui, Priyanshu said, “He is lovely and great human being. He is very good writer and director. Whatever he envisions as a writer, he has the ability to present it onscreen as a director so, that’s his strong point while making the film.”

Talking about music of the film, Priyanshu said, “I think music of the film is nice and it’s melodious. It’s easy on the ears so, I hope that audience will appreciate the music and the film as well.”

Actor Govind Namdev also shared his experience working in the film said I portray a corrupt politicians in the film and it was challenging to play a grey shade with full of life character . But I had wonderful experience working with writer director Arshad Siddiqui he was very clear about the story of our film .

‘Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000’ stars Priyanshu Chatterjee , Raai Laxmi, Vijay Raaz, Govind Namdev and Deepraj Rana is important roles.

SYNOPSIS: Officer Arjun Singh IPS

An honest and valiant cop, Arjun Singh IPS(Priyanshu Chatterjee) who is transferred to Allahabad city, Uttar Pradesh to investigate the case of a missing girl Maya (Rita Joshi) from Nari Niketan home. While investigating, Arjun locks horns with the minister and a corrupt politician Balaknath Chaudhary (Govind Namdeo), his son Kundan Chaudhary(Vijay Raaz) and their companions. Arjun meets his love Durga(Raai Laxmi) who is a key witness in the case and finally, Arjun retaliates using the power of khaki to punish the culprits. Maanvi Gagroo to play a quirky bride in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan!

Actor Maanvi Gagroo who made it big on various OTT platforms with her breakthrough performances is now all set to make it big on the silver screen with a family entertainer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.

Recently the producers launched a new animated promo to introduce all the characters of the film. Maanvi’s caricature was of a quirky bride with goggles on-called Goggle Tripathi.

Says a source, ” Maanvi will be seen playing a quirky bride, it is something she has never done before. After taking over the web world, she is now all set to win hearts with her sassy and spunky avatar.”

Says Maanvi Gagroo, “Extremely excited to be a part of such an incredible team, from the Aanand Sir to Ayushmann to every actor in this film makes a dream team for me. Looking forward to a fun-filled experience.”

The film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in the lead roles.

*Tara Sutaria learns sign language for Marjaavaan*

A few days ago, the trailer of Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan was released and we couldn’t help but notice that the lead actress Tara Sutaria didn’t have a dialogue in the trailer. The young actor later revealed at the trailer launch event that her character Zoya is verbally-challenged in the film.

The Student of the Year 2 actress learned sign language for a few months before she started filming with her sign language coach – Sangeeta Gala.

“Nowadays, it has become extremely important for actors to completely understand, and delve into the characters they’re playing. So, I’m lucky that I could spend those many months learning sign language with Sangeeta ma’am. The experience was amazing because she is a fantastic trainer,” says Tara. Gala, in the past, has worked on several movies such as Black, Guzaarish and Barfi among others.

Tara says she took the decision to learn the sign language “as soon as Milap narrated her the script. “The moment he delved inside my character, I knew it would be required of me to learn sign language. And it’s amazing that I could learn it, not just for the film’s scenes but in general too,” she says.

The actor says Marjaavaan is “only my second film, but surely, the best one that I could have asked for.” Adding that she is grateful to the makers for casting her in such a “challenging and interesting part”, Tara is “absolutely thrilled”. She says: “I have worked really hard, and am happy to have picked up sign language to communicate in the film. Now, I hope people like my performance.”

The film co-starring Siddharth Malhotra, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh is slated to release on 8th November 2019.
